Well, thanks to some major construction work by Neil and an economic stimulus package from the government this is the summer of the swingset! We're hoping it will get Abby outside and having fun while K.T. is tending to Jack and knitting and dyeing away. So far, so good! Plus it is a real hit with her little friends.

When Neil brought the box home Saturday, Abby totally freaked - she jumped up and down and danced around saying "I'm so excited!" She didn't even know what it was, she just knew it came in a very large box and that Mom and Dad were excited.

Neil worked into the wee hours of the morning to get the slide part done (working in the garage since it is still pretty cold at night) and when Abby looked out the window once she woke up she said "there's a slide in our backyard!" She and a friend spent hours climbing and sliding on Monday.

Neil put the finishing touches on the fort and finished the swing part on Monday night and she's been clammering to get outside as much as possible ever since.

K.T. has already finished a scarf, a hat and dyed 10 skeins of yarn. Swingsets should really be a tax-deductible business expense for moms who are doing stuff out of their homes.
Seriously.
